Pride Publishing Pty Ltd is based in Balmain, five minutes west of the city of Sydney, Australia. We are Australia's only dedicated specialist craft publisher. The combined knowledge of our specialist staff totals in excess of 100 years. We publish magazines and books for popular craft pursuits and organise consumer events for the paper crafts, quilting and scrapbooking industry.

We are a small company with a dedicated team of passionate people who pride themselves at being enthusiastic and dedicated to our industry.

Pride Publishing began in October 1999, with the purchase of Down Under Quilts magazine. During the next 12 months two other magazines, Australian Paper Crafts and For Keeps Creative Scrapbooking were started. In November 2002 we acquired Computer Craft, we launched Creative Expressions in October 2003 and acquired The Rubber Gazette in 2004. Our two newest releases, Beads Etc... and I can make it myself focus on two emerging trends – beads and jewellery making and homemaker / DIY interests.

In 2002 we staged our first Paper Crafts Festival and we now produce three annual festivals - Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. We launched Australia's first scrapbook convention in December 2003 and Australia's largest quilting event in 2005.

Our objective is to showcase and profile the wonderfully creative achievements of Australian craftspeople - in the pages of regular craft magazines, through specialty publications and at our unique events.
